QA Engineer
QA Engineer responsible for functional and automation testing, creating test plans, estimating effort, and driving system stabilization through test case development and collaboration with development teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute functional and automated test cases using Selenium and Java.
- Assess existing systems and integrations to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and support stabilization initiatives.
- Estimate testing effort and create detailed test plans, scripts, and scenarios aligned with project timelines.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to build comprehensive test coverage and resolve defects.
- Log, track, and report defects in JIRA, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality feedback.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in manual and automated testing, preferably with Selenium and Java.
- Strong understanding of API testing concepts and tools.
- Proficiency with test management and issue tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Experience implementing test automation within CI/CD environments (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
