QA Engineer
Detail‑oriented QA Engineer focused on test automation, security‑focused applications, and continuous integration using Python, Selenium, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for security‑critical applications using Python and Selenium.
- Execute functional, regression, and performance tests, reporting defects in Jira and collaborating with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous quality feedback.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to test planning, and provide estimates for testing effort.
- Develop and enforce test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test data management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in software quality assurance and test automation.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and Selenium WebDriver for web application testing.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines) and version control (Git).
- Strong understanding of Agile development processes and defect tracking tools such as Jira.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on data security and reliability.
