QA Engineer focused on mobile, web, and backend testing, crafting test strategies, automating with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and API testing with Postman, while validating data with SQL and running performance tests using JMeter.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans for mobile, web, APIs, and backend systems.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Appium, and Playwright.
- Leverage AI‑driven tools such as Testim and Mabl for smart test case generation and self‑healing tests.
- Perform API testing with Postman and RestAssured, writing SQL queries for backend validation.
- Run performance and load tests using JMeter, Gatling, or Locust to ensure scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects across platforms, collaborating closely with development and product teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience in QA engineering across mobile, web, and backend environments.
- Strong scripting skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with test automation frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and database validation (SQL).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
