QA Engineer
Senior QA Engineer responsible for end‑to‑end quality, designing test strategy, automating web and API tests, and driving continuous improvement on a high‑scale cross‑border payments platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the quality of the platform by designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites for web and API layers using Selenium, Cypress, and Java/Python.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps to define testable requirements, create test plans, and ensure early defect detection.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, monitor results, and provide actionable insights to accelerate release cycles.
- Mentor junior QA staff, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in test design, data management, and test environment provisioning.
- Analyze performance, reliability, and security metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the testing process.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience in a fast‑moving SaaS or fintech environment.
- Proficiency in Java or Python with Selenium WebDriver and Cypress for UI automation.
- Strong API testing skills using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and test management platforms (TestRail, Zephyr).
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills in an Agile setting.
