About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for Java, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript codebases.
- Create and execute comprehensive API test suites to validate functional and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to define test strategies and ensure high‑quality releases for finance‑related applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects using industry‑standard tools, and verify fixes through regression testing.
- Continuously improve testing processes, integrate CI/CD pipelines, and promote best practices in test automation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in software quality assurance, preferably in financial or fintech environments.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript for test script development.
- Strong experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, PyTest).
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle, CI/CD integration, and version control (Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented mindset.
