Remote QA Engineer responsible for designing and executing automated and manual tests to ensure reliability, performance, and stability of a cutting‑edge technology platform, using tools such as Selenium, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web and API components using Selenium and Python.
- Execute manual functional, regression, and performance tests to validate new releases and hot‑fixes.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to provide fast feedback on build quality.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Track defects, verify fixes, and ensure comprehensive test coverage using Jira or similar tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in software quality assurance, preferably in a SaaS or platform environment.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest) and scripting with Python.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience integrating tests with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs and using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
