QA Engineer
QA Engineer responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test plans to ensure product quality, leveraging manual and automated testing tools such as Selenium within an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing software features.
- Perform manual and automated testing using Selenium and related frameworks to identify defects and verify fixes.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to define quality standards and improve testing processes.
- Track, report, and manage defects in JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and regression testing.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives, backlog grooming) to provide quality insights and feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role in software development.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and test automation with Selenium.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
