QA Engineer
Seeking a QA Engineer to design and execute integration, system and end‑to‑end tests for a private blockchain MVP built on Hyperledger Fabric, covering REST APIs, web UI, performance and security validation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans and cases for the permissioned ledger, REST API layer, and role‑based web application.
- Execute integration, system and end‑to‑end test cycles, ensuring functional and acceptance criteria are met.
- Perform basic performance testing to validate throughput, latency and scalability targets.
- Conduct security validation activities, including authentication, authorization and vulnerability checks.
- Automate regression suites using appropriate frameworks and maintain test artifacts in version control.
- Collaborate with developers to triage defects, provide clear reproduction steps, and verify fixes.
Requirements
- Hands‑on experience testing Hyperledger Fabric or other permissioned blockchain platforms.
- Strong knowledge of REST API testing tools and methodologies.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining end‑to‑end automated test suites (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar).
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust) and basic security testing concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a contract‑based, phased delivery environment.
