QA Engineer
QA Engineer focused on testing FEM‑based process modeling software for manufacturing processes, applying SDLC/STLC principles and executing smoke, sanity, regression, and system integrity tests.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases for FEM‑based process modeling software (DEFORM) covering smoke, sanity, regression, and system integrity scenarios.
- Collaborate with development and manufacturing teams to understand process requirements and translate them into testable specifications.
- Document defects, prepare detailed bug reports, and track resolution progress using MS Office tools.
- Participate in SDLC and STLC activities, ensuring quality checkpoints are met throughout the release cycle.
- Provide clear, concise communication of test results and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and Finite Element Method (FEM) concepts.
- Experience with DEFORM or similar FEM software is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with SDLC and STLC frameworks and testing best practices.
- Proficiency in creating and managing test documentation and bug reports.
- Excellent communication skills and a quick learning mindset.
