QA Engineer
QA Engineer responsible for designing and executing automated test suites, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with development teams using Selenium, Python, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python to validate functional and performance requirements.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing and rapid feedback.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA leads in Agile ceremonies to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, and track defects in Jira, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
- Perform root‑cause analysis of failures, recommend process improvements, and contribute to test plan creation.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in test automation, preferably with Selenium WebDriver.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for test development and data handling.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar) and version control systems (Git).
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes and defect‑tracking tools such as Jira.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
