QA Engineer
QA Engineer responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of a blockchain‑powered insurance platform through manual and API testing, defect tracking, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive manual test cases for web, mobile, and API components of the insurance verification platform.
- Validate API functionality, data integrity, and performance against functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Log, track, and verify resolution of defects using the defect management system, ensuring timely closure.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and maintain test documentation.
- Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand‑ups within an Agile environment to align testing activities with release schedules.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in manual testing and API validation for modern software applications.
- Proficiency with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps) and test case management systems.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and Agile/Scrum processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.
