QA Engineer
QA Engineer responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test plans for web and mobile applications using Selenium, TestNG, and JIRA, ensuring high quality releases in an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Automate regression and functional tests using Selenium WebDriver with TestNG framework.
- Track defects, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing test estimates and status updates.
Requirements
- 3+ years of QA experience in software development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Java or JavaScript.
- Strong knowledge of JIRA for defect tracking and test management.
- Experience with SQL for data validation and test data preparation.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration pipelines.
