Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable Playwright automation frameworks in TypeScript, driving CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to ensure rapid, reliable delivery of high‑quality software.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript), creating reusable functions and utilities.
- Build and sustain scalable, efficient automation frameworks from scratch, ensuring modularity and maintainability.
- Implement, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to enable seamless integration and continuous delivery.
- Execute comprehensive end‑to‑end testing, including functional, regression, and performance scenarios, and analyze results to drive quality improvements.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to define test strategies, review requirements, and provide actionable feedback.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Playwright and TypeScript in a professional setting.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language and solid understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming concepts.
- Hands‑on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high‑quality software.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
