QA Engineer
Remote QA Automation Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks using Selenium, Python or Java, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring high‑quality cloud‑based solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites for web and API applications using Selenium, Python or Java.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar) to enable continuous testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps to define test strategies and ensure test coverage aligns with release goals.
- Identify, document, and track defects; work with engineering teams to reproduce and resolve issues.
- Monitor test results, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to improve software quality and release confidence.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in test automation using Selenium with Python or Java.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Experience testing cloud‑native applications and familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, version control (Git), and agile methodologies.
- Ability to obtain or already hold Public Trust clearance and meet U.S. residency work‑authorization requirements.
