QA Automation Engineer focused on designing, building, and maintaining automated test solutions using Selenium, Java, and BDD frameworks to ensure high‑quality software delivery and continuous improvement of test processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver with Java and TestNG.
- Enhance existing automation packs and contribute to the long‑term automation strategy in collaboration with development and product teams.
- Create comprehensive test data, define test environments, and ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
- Identify, log, and track defects, providing clear risk assessments and release impact analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across test processes, tooling, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in QA automation with Selenium, Java, and TestNG.
- Strong knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and experience writing Gherkin scenarios.
- Hands‑on experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
