Software Engineer
Lead the Quality Engineering function, driving both manual and automated testing using Playwright and Selenium, while establishing enterprise testing strategies, SDLC quality gates, and continuous improvement for secure, high‑quality software releases.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement enterprise‑wide testing strategies, integrating manual, functional, and performance testing.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test suites using Playwright and Selenium.
- Enforce SDLC quality gates, ensuring compliance with security, audit, and resiliency standards.
- Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams in Agile ceremonies to drive defect prevention and rapid release readiness.
- Mentor and coach QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and test automation excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation and manual testing, with strong hands‑on expertise in Playwright and Selenium.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or Java) and test frameworks such as TestNG, Jest, or PyTest.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) to integrate automated tests.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC quality standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with a track record of leading QA teams.
