Lead public affairs strategy for research, technology, and digital policy, driving stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, and regulatory advocacy to shape national and EU-level initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive public affairs strategies for research, technology, and digital policy initiatives.
- Analyze and monitor legislative and regulatory developments across national and EU platforms.
- Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, industry leaders, and civil society stakeholders.
- Prepare briefing materials, position papers, and policy recommendations for senior leadership.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to align policy positions with corporate objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Law, Public Policy, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in public affairs, policy analysis, or regulatory affairs within the technology sector.
- Strong understanding of EU and German digital policy frameworks and research & technology regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
- Proven ability to influence decision‑makers and manage complex stakeholder networks.
