Prototype / Test Engineer - ampa
QA Engineer
Design, build, and validate electronic prototypes and test systems using Python, C++, LabVIEW, and test automation tools while ensuring signal integrity and PCB performance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans for new hardware prototypes, including functional, performance, and reliability testing.
- Design and program automated test rigs using Python, C++, and LabVIEW to streamline data acquisition and analysis.
- Create and modify PCB layouts, schematics, and bill of materials to support rapid prototyping cycles.
- Analyze signal integrity, power distribution, and electromagnetic compatibility to identify and resolve design issues.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to iterate designs based on test results and feedback.
- Document test procedures, results, and recommendations in clear technical reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in prototype development and hardware testing.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and LabVIEW for test automation and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad) and signal‑processing techniques.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
