About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to property and casualty claims and underwriting.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction and reporting.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI or Tableau to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and risk factors impacting portfolio performance.
- Collaborate with actuaries, underwriters, and product teams to support pricing, loss reserving, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis within the insurance industry, preferably P&C.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (pandas, numpy), and advanced Excel functions.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in statistical modeling and hypothesis testing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data warehousing concepts is a plus.
