Software Engineer
Lead cross‑functional teams delivering live, virtual, constructive (LVC) and fleet sustainment solutions for military customers, ensuring compliance with Secret‑level security requirements and driving project success from inception to delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end project lifecycle for LVC, fleet sustainment, nuclear and environmental initiatives, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, and customer stakeholders to define scope, objectives, and success metrics.
- Apply Agile and traditional project management frameworks to manage resources, schedules, and risk mitigation.
- Maintain rigorous documentation, status reporting, and change control processes in alignment with security and compliance standards.
- Facilitate cross‑disciplinary collaboration, resolve conflicts, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; PMP or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in defense or high‑security environments.
- Strong understanding of Secret‑level security clearance processes and compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite.
