Lead multidisciplinary bridge projects, overseeing design, construction, and safety for steel and concrete structures using CAD/BIM tools and industry standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver steel and concrete bridge projects on schedule and within budget.
- Develop and review design drawings, specifications, and calculations for bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and related structures.
- Coordinate with owners, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Implement BIM workflows to streamline design coordination and clash detection.
- Oversee construction activities, conduct site inspections, and enforce OSHA safety standards.
- Prepare progress reports, cost estimates, and change orders for project stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing bridge or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
- Strong knowledge of bridge design codes (AASHTO, AISC) and construction practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
