Project Engineer / Project Manager – Job Description (JD)
Position: Project Engineer / Project ManagerDepartment: Operations & ExecutionLocation: Ramanathapuram / Karaikudi / Devakottai (Travel within Tamil Nadu)
Job Purpose
Plan, execute, and monitor rooftop solar projects from site survey to commissioning while ensuring quality, safety, timely completion, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning
- Review sales handover and customer requirements.
- Conduct or verify site survey.
- Prepare project schedule and execution plan.
- Coordinate with procurement for material availability.
Project Execution
- Manage installation teams and subcontractors.
- Ensure projects are completed within timeline and budget.
- Monitor daily site progress.
- Resolve technical and site issues.
Quality Control
- Ensure installation follows company SOPs.
- Verify panel alignment, mounting quality, wiring, earthing, and safety.
- Conduct quality inspection before handover.
Customer Coordination
- Update customers on project progress.
- Handle installation-related queries.
- Obtain customer sign-off after commissioning.
Documentation
- Maintain project files.
- Update CRM/Bigin daily.
- Submit daily and weekly progress reports.
- Coordinate net-metering documentation with the office team.
Safety
- Ensure PPE usage.
- Follow electrical safety standards.
- Conduct toolbox talks before work starts.

Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. in Electrical, EEE, ECE, or Mechanical.
- 2–5 years of solar EPC experience.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
