Lead cross‑functional automation projects, driving design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes using advanced control systems and robotics.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end automation projects, from concept through commissioning, ensuring on‑time delivery and budget compliance.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to define technical specifications and performance metrics.
- Oversee design, integration, and validation of PLC, SCADA, and robotic systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, risk assessments, and change control procedures.
- Mentor and coach engineering staff, fostering continuous improvement and skill development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in automation engineering within a pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical environment.
- Proven track record managing large, multidisciplinary projects and delivering complex automation solutions.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA, robotics, and process control.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
