About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the end‑to‑end design of electronic hardware, including analog, digital, and mixed‑signal circuits, ensuring compliance with aerospace reliability standards.
- Define system architecture, hardware specifications, and verification plans for RF and high‑frequency subsystems.
- Lead a team of RF and electronic engineers, providing technical mentorship, project scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional groups—mechanical, software, manufacturing, and quality—to guarantee manufacturability and testability of the final product.
- Oversee prototype development, testing, failure analysis, and iterative design improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical Engineering, Microwave Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of hardware design experience.
- Proven expertise in RF, analog, digital, and mixed‑signal circuit design for high‑reliability aerospace or aviation applications.
- Strong leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects on schedule.
- Hands‑on proficiency with PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence), simulation software (e.g., ADS, HFSS), and hardware verification methodologies.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills, with a focus on compliance to industry standards such as DO‑160, MIL‑STD‑810, and AS9100.
