Project Engineer responsible for integrating advanced warehouse automation systems, combining mechanical design, control software, and logistics expertise to deliver reliable, high‑performance solutions for global clients.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end integration of warehouse automation projects, from concept and design through commissioning and handover.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to develop robust system architectures that meet client logistics requirements.
- Program and configure PLCs, motion controllers, and robot interfaces, ensuring seamless communication between hardware and control software.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts and ROS nodes for system testing, data acquisition, and performance optimization.
- Provide on‑site technical support during installation, troubleshooting issues, and delivering training to client operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in automation or robotics integration within warehouse or logistics environments.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley) and familiarity with industrial communication protocols.
- Strong Python coding skills and experience with ROS or similar robotics middleware.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities, communication skills, and willingness to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, global team.
