Software Engineer
Lead and support complex power infrastructure projects, from high‑voltage substations to HVDC converter stations and renewable interconnections, delivering engineering solutions for utility and industrial clients.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design and execution of high‑voltage substation, HVDC converter station, and transmission system projects.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure project milestones, quality standards, and client requirements are met.
- Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using industry‑standard CAD and design tools.
- Oversee procurement, installation, and commissioning activities, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients, addressing design challenges and facilitating project approvals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience designing and managing power infrastructure projects, including substations, HVDC, and transmission.
- Proficiency with CAD, PSS/E, or similar power system analysis tools.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
