Software Engineer
Electrical Project Engineer responsible for delivering natural gas and LNG projects, leading front‑end planning, design, and construction activities while applying electrical engineering expertise, AutoCAD drafting, PLC/SCADA integration, and project management best practices.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design and engineering for natural gas, LNG, and emerging low‑carbon projects, ensuring compliance with industry codes and client specifications.
- Develop and review detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using AutoCAD and related design tools.
- Program, configure, and commission PLC and SCADA systems to support safe and efficient plant operations.
- Coordinate front‑end planning, cost estimating, and schedule development in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Perform technical reviews, risk assessments (HAZOP/HAZID), and constructability analyses to mitigate project risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience in the energy sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD electrical drafting and familiarity with industry standards (NEC, IEC).
- Hands‑on experience with PLC programming (Allen‑Bradley, Siemens) and SCADA integration.
- Strong understanding of power systems design, load calculations, and protection coordination.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including schedule control, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
