Software Engineer
Project Engineer responsible for coordinating construction activities, developing schedules, and preparing cost estimates using tools such as Primavera, AutoCAD, and BIM for complex building projects.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with client milestones and contract requirements.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and quantity take‑offs, collaborating with estimators and subcontractors to support bid development.
- Produce and review construction drawings and models in AutoCAD and BIM platforms, verifying compliance with design intent and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams on‑site, facilitating communication between architects, engineers, and trades to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Monitor progress, track changes, and generate regular status reports to keep stakeholders informed of schedule and budget performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in project engineering or construction coordination on commercial or institutional projects.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
- Strong analytical skills for cost estimating, schedule analysis, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on delivering high‑quality results on time and within budget.
