Project Engineer, Municipal – lead multidisciplinary construction projects, coordinate design, procurement, and execution using AutoCAD, BIM, and MS Project to deliver high‑quality municipal infrastructure on schedule and within budget.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and budgeting for municipal infrastructure initiatives.
- Coordinate design, engineering, and construction teams to ensure compliance with local codes and standards.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD and BIM.
- Manage procurement, subcontractor selection, and contract administration.
- Monitor project progress, conduct site inspections, and resolve technical issues.
- Prepare progress reports, cost analyses, and risk assessments for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 3–5 years of project engineering experience in municipal or public works projects.
- Knowledge of local building codes, environmental regulations, and construction best practices.
