Lead the delivery of a major Light Rail Stage 2A project, coordinating design, construction, and safety teams while ensuring compliance, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction using BIM and advanced project management techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of the Light Rail Stage 2A project, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including design, engineering, construction, and safety, to align project objectives.
- Implement BIM workflows for design coordination, clash detection, and progress tracking.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk registers, providing regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, driving a culture of safety across the site.
- Engage with government agencies, community groups, and contractors to manage expectations and resolve issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive project engineering experience on large infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks) and project management tools (Primavera, MS Project).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Australian construction standards, safety regulations, and procurement processes.
