Software Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end hardware delivery for a flight‑relevant quantum gravity gradiometer, managing BOM maturity, procurement, supplier coordination, EEE parts flow, kitting, and handoff to Assembly, Integration, and Test.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end‑to‑end hardware delivery for the QGG Pathfinder program, ensuring product‑tree and BOM maturity.
- Coordinate procurement, supplier recovery, and EEE parts flowdown to meet schedule and quality targets.
- Oversee kitting, packaging, and handoff to Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) teams.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (electronics, software, mission assurance) to resolve integration issues.
- Maintain project documentation, risk registers, and status reports for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in hardware project engineering or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of BOM management, procurement processes, and EEE parts handling.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in aerospace or high‑precision instrumentation is a plus.
