Software Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end plant expansion and new line projects, managing timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships while overseeing equipment installation and commissioning for food processing facilities.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute plant expansion, new production lines, cold storage, and utility projects, creating detailed schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams and external contractors to ensure on‑time delivery and quality compliance.
- Lead the installation and commissioning of critical equipment such as IQF machines, blast freezers, refrigeration systems, and packaging lines, conducting trial runs and handover to production.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and contractors for machinery and civil works, monitoring performance and contract compliance.
- Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and cost control measures to keep projects within scope and budget.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project engineering within food processing or related manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of equipment installation, commissioning, and cold storage systems.
- Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and vendor management.
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Proficiency with project management tools and MS Office suite.
