Project Engineer - Carmeuse Lime & Stone

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute assigned projects ranging from packaged equipment to large‑scale retrofits and capital upgrades.
• Engage directly with customers to gather, interpret, and validate technical requirements and specifications.
• Develop detailed design documentation, including mechanical drawings and schematics, using AutoCAD and SolidWorks in coordination with the design team.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage budgets, and track progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within cost targets.
• Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and quality checks to meet company standards and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in project engineering, preferably in equipment manufacturing or industrial retrofits.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Strong ability to translate customer needs into actionable design plans and to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk mitigation.
