About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end engineering projects for submarine life‑of‑type extension and nuclear‑powered vessel development.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensuring design integrity, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.
- Develop and review technical documentation, design reviews, and risk assessments.
- Implement quality assurance processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate progress, issues, and solutions to senior stakeholders and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
- 5+ years of project engineering experience in complex naval or aerospace environments.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering, design reviews, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in a highly regulated, security‑controlled environment.
