Software Engineer
Project Engineer driving water infrastructure projects, applying civil engineering principles, risk and health & safety management, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver high‑quality outcomes on time and within budget.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects across the water network, ensuring design, procurement and construction meet technical and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and risk registers, providing regular status updates to senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors and external agencies, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Implement health & safety and environmental controls, conducting site inspections and audits to maintain compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, applying lessons learned to optimise project delivery and asset performance.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience managing water or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, risk assessment and H&S regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office suite.
