Software Engineer
Lead complex electrical design projects with a focus on cyber security, guiding multidisciplinary teams through planning, design, construction, and client engagement using BIM and rigorous compliance standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for electrical design and cyber security integration across mission‑critical, healthcare, education, commercial, and science & technology projects.
- Develop and review detailed electrical schematics, load calculations, and system specifications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and cybersecurity specialists to embed secure infrastructure into building designs.
- Lead construction administration activities, including field inspections, change order management, and coordination with contractors to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for cyber threats to critical electrical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience, with at least 5 years in project leadership roles.
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks) and electrical design tools (AutoCAD, ETAP).
- Strong knowledge of cyber security principles as applied to electrical infrastructure.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
