Project Designer 2 Data Centers - Convergint Federal Solutions

Convergint is looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and managed electronic/physical security design professional who, under limited supervision, executes, and coordinates the design engineering tasks for moderate to high complexity projects and for systems such as access control, video surveillance systems, intruder alarms, intercoms, and other technologies. This colleague will be providing design engineering support to customers and projects across our vertical teams and our CTC’s and will be responsible for the delivery of these services and support for the projects assigned to him/her.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

• Provides design or drawing assistance for projects during the development and as-built stages of the engineered drawings. Works on projects with varying levels of complexity including the moderately complex design projects. Obtains electronic plans from engineers/architects/owners. Obtains design drawings from sprinkler and mechanical contractors. Creates engineered drawings (AutoCAD, etc.). Prepares record drawings and O&M manuals according to project requirements.
• Works from rough sketches, schematics, and verbal instructions. Utilizes and maintain Convergint project design, documentation and submittal standards. Ensures adherence to industry standards and codes as required. Supports and maintain Convergint design standards.
