Project Coordinator, IT Infrastructure

Project Coordinator for IT Infrastructure projects, working with Fortune 500 customers, tracking and understanding documentation deliverables, and assisting with project oversight.

About the role

Role Overview

As a Project Coordinator, you will be working on exciting infrastructure driven projects for Fortune 500 customers across all verticals. Our global infrastructure planning and deployment services deliver thousands of projects each year. From employing our methodologies at hundreds of sites to leveraging complete enterprise design services, customers trust our infrastructure experts to assess the technology they have today and design the solutions they need for tomorrow.

What You Will Do

Tracking and understanding documentation deliverables for multiple small IT projects, gathering documentation from the customer, assisting with or managing the oversight of all aspects of project life cycle, developing and maintaining relationships with internal & external stakeholders, and financial management of project budgets.

This role requires 2+ years of IT Project Coordination/Project Management experience, advanced skills in MS Office applications, experience with Multisite hardware deployments, and a strong understanding of project management industry standard framework and the development life cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of IT Project Coordination/Project Management experience
  • Experience supporting external customers in a professional services and/or managed services environment
  • Exposure to Infrastructure technology projects and project management
  • Experience working as an IT project coordinator or similar role
  • Advanced Skills in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, SharePoint, Smartsheet and Outlook
  • Experience with Multisite hardware deployments
  • Experience with MS Project
  • Experience with financial processes; ability to understand, analyze and create financial reports
  • Understanding of project management industry standard framework and the development life cycle
  • Ability to work independently and aggressively track project timelines
  • Experience with T-scheduling for planning, monitoring, and controlling of project timelines
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate well with customers and co-workers (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Strong team building skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
