Software Engineer
Develop and optimize coating process programs, integrate automation systems, and analyze material performance using C++, Python, MATLAB, and PLC technologies to deliver high‑quality, durable finishes for diverse industrial applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software and control algorithms for coating production lines, ensuring consistent product quality and process efficiency.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality teams to translate material specifications into programmable process parameters.
- Implement and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems, integrating sensors and data acquisition tools for real‑time monitoring.
- Perform data analysis and modeling in Python and MATLAB to identify process improvements and predict coating performance under varying conditions.
- Document technical solutions, generate standard operating procedures, and provide training to production personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python for automation and data analysis.
- Experience with PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen‑Bradley) and industrial control systems.
- Strong knowledge of coating materials, surface preparation, and performance testing.
- Analytical mindset with ability to solve complex technical problems and work cross‑functionally.
