About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical vision for large‑scale aerospace and defense programs, ensuring alignment with customer needs and regulatory standards.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, coordinating design, integration, testing, and validation activities across multiple disciplines.
- Develop and maintain program schedules, budgets, and risk management plans, providing transparent status reporting to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing best practices in systems engineering, quality assurance, and process optimization.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison with customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in program or project management within the aerospace or defense sector.
- Proven track record of leading complex, multi‑disciplinary engineering programs to successful delivery.
- Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles, integration testing, and certification processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
