Data Analyst
Analyze and interpret production data to drive operational efficiency in a plant‑based food manufacturing environment, using SQL, Python, and visualization tools to support the Growing & Harvesting team.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate production data from manufacturing execution systems and IoT sensors.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Create interactive dashboards in Tableau and Excel to visualize key metrics such as yield, downtime, and labor efficiency.
- Perform statistical analyses to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with the Director of Growing & Harvesting and cross‑functional teams to translate data insights into actionable operational recommendations.
- Document data pipelines, analytical methodologies, and reporting standards to ensure reproducibility and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Agriculture, or related field with 2+ years of analytical experience in a manufacturing or agribusiness setting.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (pandas, NumPy) for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Strong data‑visualization skills using Tableau, Power BI, or advanced Excel.
- Experience applying statistical techniques (regression, hypothesis testing) to solve production problems.
- Excellent communication skills to present findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
