Software Engineer
Product Support Engineer responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues in a fast‑moving fintech environment, leveraging Python, SQL, REST APIs and AWS to ensure seamless loan‑processing experiences for customers.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues affecting loan origination, servicing, and reporting platforms.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to reproduce bugs, implement fixes, and improve system reliability.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and monitoring tools using Python and AWS services to proactively detect anomalies.
- Analyze data from databases and APIs to identify root causes and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Document troubleshooting procedures, knowledge‑base articles, and service‑level performance metrics.
Requirements
- Strong programming experience in Python and solid understanding of SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs and integration patterns in a SaaS or fintech context.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch) and infrastructure‑as‑code concepts.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot production‑grade systems, prioritize incidents, and communicate technical details to non‑technical audiences.
- Experience in a product support or technical operations role within financial services or a related high‑growth technology company.
