About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary Product Security Engineering team focused on missile and weapons systems.
- Develop and execute security strategies, threat models, and risk assessments for new and existing products.
- Collaborate with design, development, and operations to embed security controls early in the product lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations, managing audits and certification processes.
- Drive continuous improvement of security processes, tooling, and metrics to enhance product resilience.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in product security engineering within defense or aerospace environments.
- Proven leadership in managing engineering teams and cross‑functional projects.
- Deep knowledge of secure software development practices, threat modeling, and risk assessment frameworks.
- Strong understanding of missile and weapons system architecture and associated security challenges.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
