As a Product Security Analyst at HackerOne, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security risks in our software products. You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our products are secure and meet the highest standards of security. This role requires a strong understanding of security principles, as well as experience with security testing and vulnerability management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and report security vulnerabilities in our software products
- Work with development teams to remediate security issues and implement security fixes
- Develop and maintain security testing and vulnerability management processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into product development
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a security-related role, preferably in a product security or vulnerability management capacity
- Strong understanding of security principles and security testing methodologies
- Experience with security testing tools and technologies, including Python and Node.js
- Knowledge of cloud-based security platforms, such as AWS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders
