About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap and delivery for onboard firmware, embedded software, and navigation stacks across the AMR portfolio.
- Collaborate with global product managers, hardware engineers, and software teams to define feature requirements, prioritize backlogs, and ensure alignment with market needs.
- Guide the development and integration of ROS‑based navigation, SLAM, and path‑planning algorithms, ensuring robust performance on embedded platforms.
- Drive Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release management, maintaining clear communication of progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Validate firmware and navigation functionality through testing, simulation, and field trials, translating feedback into actionable improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development for robotics or autonomous systems, proficient in C/C++ and Python.
- Strong knowledge of ROS, SLAM, and navigation algorithm implementation on resource‑constrained hardware.
- Proven product ownership experience in an Agile environment, with a track record of delivering complex software/firmware products.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, able to bridge technical and business teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
