Product Operations Manager Technical Focus - MCTekk

This is a remote position.

We’re seeking a highly organized and technically fluent Technical Program Manager to support cross-functional execution across product, engineering, and operations.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong project management skills with a solid technical understanding of how digital systems work. You will not be coding, but you must be comfortable discussing APIs, backend/frontend architecture, deployments, and technical workflows with engineering teams.

This is a hands-on operational role. Beyond managing timelines and tracking deliverables, you will work directly with tools such as CMS platforms, analytics dashboards, and other digital systems to support execution.

You will play a key role in ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, aligned with product goals, and executed with operational excellence.

Build and manage project timelines across cross-functional teams

Ensure on-time delivery of product and operational initiatives

Coordinate closely with engineering, product, and operations teams

Translate business and product requirements into actionable execution plans

Work directly with tools such as CMS platforms and analytics systems

Monitor progress, identify blockers, and proactively drive solutions

Maintain clarity and alignment across stakeholders

Support deployment and release coordination when needed

This role goes beyond running stand ups and writing Jira tickets. It requires hands-on operational ownership.

Requirements

Strong understanding of how backend and frontend systems interact

Familiarity with APIs and how API calls function

Understanding of deployments and environments (development, staging, production)

Ability to communicate effectively with engineering teams

Proven ability to create and manage timelines

Experience keeping teams accountable to deadlines

Strong organizational and execution skills

Comfortable working with project management tools (e.g., Jira or similar)

Strong product logic and structured thinking

Ability to understand feature scope and dependencies

Hands-on experience with CMS platforms and/or analytics tools preferred

Willingness to execute operational tasks directly, not purely coordinate

Detail-oriented and proactive

Strong communicator

Solution-oriented mindset

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Nice to have:

Previous experience in a product-led digital company

Background in engineering or technical roles (not required, but valued)
