Product Manager, Safety Research

As a Product Manager, Safety Research at cohere, you will be responsible for leading safety research initiatives and ensuring the development of safe and responsible AI products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential safety risks, and develop strategies to address them. This role requires a strong understanding of machine learning, data analysis, and software development, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead safety research initiatives to identify and mitigate potential safety risks in AI products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies to address safety risks
• Develop and maintain safety research plans and roadmaps
• Conduct data analysis and machine learning to inform safety research decisions
• Communicate safety research findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in product management, safety research, or a related field
• Strong understanding of machine learning, data analysis, and software development
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Experience with AWS and Python is a plus
