About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Monash Lakehouse data platform.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, architects, and external vendors to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Prioritize features, manage backlogs, and ensure timely delivery of high‑impact data and analytics capabilities.
- Engage stakeholders across the university to gather feedback, validate solutions, and drive adoption.
- Monitor product performance, analyze usage metrics, and iterate on the roadmap to maximize value.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in data or analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, lakehouse architecture, and modern analytics tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical details into clear business value.
- Experience working with external vendors and managing cross‑functional teams.
