Lead the strategy and delivery of a cloud‑native data platform, driving data lake, catalog, and governance initiatives on Azure while collaborating with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product roadmap for the Azure‑based data platform, covering data lake, catalog, and governance capabilities.
- Partner with engineering, data engineering, and analytics teams to translate business needs into technical requirements and feature specifications.
- Prioritize backlog items, manage releases, and ensure timely delivery of high‑quality, scalable data services.
- Establish data governance policies, metadata management, and security controls to meet compliance and data quality standards.
- Monitor platform performance, gather user feedback, and drive continuous improvement through data‑driven insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience delivering data platforms or analytics solutions, preferably on Azure.
- Strong understanding of data lake architectures, data cataloging, and governance frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Purview, and related data integration tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud security best practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and agile product development skills.
