Implementation Engineer
Integrate and customize fintech middleware solutions, building robust APIs and cloud services to enable financial institutions to deliver credit products to low‑income customers.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain middleware components that connect the ki credit platform with partner banking and lending systems.
- Build and expose RESTful APIs for credit scoring, risk dashboards, and funding workflows.
- Implement cloud‑native solutions on AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Collaborate with product, data, and risk teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for integration issues faced by financial institution partners.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend development using Python or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of REST API design, authentication, and versioning.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3) and infrastructure‑as‑code.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database design.
- Background in fintech or financial services integration is preferred.
